Yeah, made the trip to Chattanooga, TN today with no problems! Kayla already had other plans so I didn't get over to the Tennessee Aquarium like we had wanted to last weekend, but I did pick up the BEW ND doe, Hop-A-Long's Lilly, from Becca's Bouncin' Bunnies. The fall leaves along the way were really pretty. Wish I had remembered my camera. I had it last weekend. Ah well.
Lilly seems to be a sweet little bun and she settled into her new cage with no problems. Fingers crossed that she is carrying some nice little kits. Dew Drop's Glue (aka Buttons), the buck that Lilly is bred to, is really nice and has Lonestar lines on his top side. He was shown once and the judges gave him some really nice compliments, according to Becca.
Becca Detweler and her mom, Deborah, of Becca's Bouncin' Bunnies, are very nice and they have some very nice rabbits. I enjoyed my time talking with them today, and look forward to keeping in touch with them.
On another note, I discovered there are 2 little kittens in the barn. I didn't think that the stray momma cat that has been hanging around the barn currently had a litter, but, I was wrong. Looks like they are about 5-6 weeks old and one is grey, like mom, and the other is a brown tabby. And, on closer inspection, it looks like the little momma kitty is expecting again. Oh goody. Looks like she is going to get to take a ride with me to work soon to get spayed.
